52% happy is a project for the 2004 Biennale of Puerto Rico. According to the World Value Survey, Puerto Ricans are among the top range of the happiest people in the world. Nigeria has the highest percentage of happy people followed by Mexico, Venezuela, El Salvador and Puerto Rico. Factors that make people happy, though they may vary from one country to the next are genetic propensity to happiness, marriage, making friends and valuing them, desiring less, doing someone a good turn, having faith (religious or not), not comparing your looks with others, earning more money, growing old gracefully, not worrying if you're not a genius... All volunteers who worked to make PR-04 possible, were given a T-shirt.
